Thanksgiving is coming up fast! I have a calendar filled up with things that I need to do to get ready for Thursday and what day I need to do them. I was looking over my calendar of chores today and discovered that I had left out the most important thing of all. In planning my week so that I would not be "overly stressed" by Thanksgiving, I had filled each day up with "make pies, mix dressing, peel potatoes, thaw turkey, etc., etc." But I had not left room for "give thanks." How about you? Did you get that put on your calendar? It is the most important thing for the day!
This past Thursday evening, the Carbon Church of the Nazarene and our church joined together for our annual Harvest Thanksgiving service at our church. It is always so good to worship together with them.
Last Sunday, we had our Thanksgiving Dinner at church. We invited the people from Epworth to join us, and they did.
