Why are the teams wearing white on the road and colored at home this season? Did I miss a memo?

Question: Every season I can remember the home team wore white and the away team wore the color. So, why is this season different?

Answer: Not that I wish to discredit the previous responders, but you are correct that it used to be that he home team wore white and the away team wore dark. But that changed, I believe, in 2003.

Not different. Its the way it has always been. When you are at home you wear your jersey with the most color, usually a darker jeresy and when you are away you wear a jeresey that usually has a base white or is lighter in color.

Fairfield Man Tied Up, Beaten in Home Invasion

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A Sacred Heart University student was tied up and beaten in a home invasion on Reef Road Wednesday night. Police are looking for two suspects, both white males who were wearing all black.

The 22-year-old male victim told police the duo came in through the unlocked back door of the house he rents on the 1000 block of Reef Road. One of the invaders got him in a headlock, and both tied his hands behind his back. They then punched and kicked him.

The suspects took electronics and jewelry and left out the back door. The victim told police the incident lasted about five minutes. Shortly afterward the man was able to get free and call police. When emergency responders arrived, he was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport for treatment.

Officers conducted a neighborhood canvass using a K-9 unit and thermal imaging cameras but could not find the burglars. They were described as white males, both with medium builds. One was about 5-feet-7, the other 6-feet-2. Both were wearing all black and carried black backpacks. One of the men wore a mask.
